Designed by Georgetown Pottery, the Salt Urchin is an elegant and fun way to store and serve your salt. With each shake they deliver a consistent dose, making them perfect for the table or stovetop. Their novel design is resistant to moisture buildup. In each kiln firing, the copper in the glaze reacts differently, creating subtle, one of a kind patterns, just as in nature.
To fill, hold upside down and pour in the salt of your choice, gently tapping or shaking as necessary. To use, hold firmly in your hand and make a quick upward jerk. The salt stored inside will fill a small measured cylinder and fall out of the bottom.
